Matthew formerly worked for the National Trust in the South-west before returning home to join Balfours in 2022. He qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2024 and is now based in our Shrewsbury head office, supporting the management of traditional rural estates and charitable enterprises across Staffordshire and Shropshire.

A keen supporter of local fundraising, Matthew has taken part in both the Lake Vyrnwy Half Marathon and the Balfours Three Peaks Challenge. Outside work, he enjoys running, walking, and getting lost in a good book.
