Bridgnorth to Bristol and Birmingham, Bethany joins Balfours
A new letting agent has been appointed to Balfours boutique agency in Shrewsbury’s town Square.
Bethany Gough-Becker, who grew up in Bridgnorth, has joined Balfours as a property letting administrator. Beth who left Shropshire to study real estate at the West of England University Bristol where she gained her degree. She took her first job with a sales agency in Birmingham, where she worked her way transferring to lettings and ultimately lettings manager.
Today she is thrilled to be part of the lettings team in Shropshire. “The market has been difficult with the recent Renters Rights changes. Nevertheless, it is really rewarding to meet landlords and understand their goals and how we can find the right tenants to match their needs.
“It is a very different market to Birmingham, but in a good way with landlords seeking long term tenants and tenants who truly appreciate the beautiful and character homes available in Shropshire. Agreeing property lets is hugely satisfying, making those matches and ensuring that both parties are happy,” Beth adds.
Balfours partner, Alistair Hilton comments: “Beth is proving to be a true asset and team player, and we look forward to her career developing with us.” Now living in Ironbridge with her partner, Beth enjoys exercising, from walking to yoga and pilates, plus socialising with family and friends
