PRICE ON APPLICATION

Due to the retirement of the long-term grazier we are able to offer a large block of permanent pasture for tender. The land extends to a total of 39.85 Hectares / 98.47 Acres with the central block known as ‘The Parkland’, plus nearby areas including ‘Elbridge Meadows’, parts of which are subject to a Higher-Level Countryside Stewardship Scheme until October 2024. The majority of the land has been recently grazed, with areas capable of hay crops.

Access to the land is via several existing roadside gateways and tracks. All Tenders are to be submitted to Emma Clare Jones or Jasmin Teague by Noon Wednesday 31st January 2024.

North Shropshire

North Shropshire is home to charming market towns such as Oswestry and Ellesmere as well as many quaint villages and rural hamlets. The Llangollen canal passes through and the area is known for its beautiful countryside, natural landscapes and historic sites, notably, Chirk Castle and Whittington Castle.

North Shropshire boasts several meres and lakes including the picturesque Lake Vyrnwy where you can enjoy boating, fishing or simply relaxing by the water.  There are numerous trails for hiking, cycling and horse riding and a selection of nature reserves to explore.

There are a host of schools, within the state and private sector, that are located in North Shropshire. Ellesmere College, Packwood Haugh and Oswestry School are highly regarded as are the Thomas Adams and The Corbet schools.

North Shropshire is well placed for commuting. The A49 to the north takes you to the national motorway network to Chester, Liverpool and Manchester. The A5 to the south takes you to Telford, Wolverhampton and Birmingham. National railway services are available from Shrewsbury with various links to the north and south. International airports can be found at Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool and East Midlands.
