Michaelmas Barn is located in the sought after hamlet of Wrentnall, in the Parish of Pulverbatch. The parish is situated on the edge of the South Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This is a living, working place, loved by locals and visitors alike for its quality of environment, for walking and activities of all levels.

Pulverbatch is home to a village hall, church and a popular public house, The White Horse. Other local facilities are found in the nearby village of Pontesbury, just 3.5 miles away. A more comprehensive range of services can be found in Shrewsbury which features an extensive range of shopping, fine dining, museums and a theatre. A good selection of schools, both state and public, are located in the area. School buses operate in the area to Longden Junior School and Pontesbury Secondary School.

The A5, a short distance away, provides excellent links to the northwest via Oswestry and to the east onto the M54 and the national motorway network. A direct train service is available from Shrewsbury to London. International airports can be found at Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool.

On entering Michaelmas Barn, the kitchen is located to the right with the dining room adjoining it. The living room is on the left and is accessible from both the entrance hall and the dining room. The living room features a fireplace with a gas fire and Parquet floor. The living room leads into the 'Oak Room' which is an additional living space filled with light, characterful beams, a log burner and French patio doors leading out to the terrace outside. Upstairs, there are two double bedrooms and one single bedroom (all with fitted wardrobes) and a family bathroom. In addition there are plenty of storage cupboards, cleverly built into the alcoves.

Outside features a paved courtyard and a generous garden laid to lawn with established plants. A double garage and a further garage come workshop are located next door to Michaelmas Barn.

Please Note: Drainage is shared with Holly Tree Barn (next door) and the soakaway is located on their land.

From Shrewsbury, take the Longden Road passing Meole Brace School and the Nuffield Hospital. You will pass over the A5 bypass as you leave Shrewsbury. Travel through Hook-a-Gate, Annscroft, Longden and Longden Common and after approximately six miles (from Longden Road roundabout); take the right turn, signposted to Wrentnall and Plealey (by the white cottage on the junction). Follow the road into the hamlet, keeping to the right-hand side of the triangle and park 100 yards up on the left-hand side of the garages.
