Surge of surfing house hunters yields three horse race
05/01/2015The surge of surfing house hunters post Christmas will have a third choice come mid January.
As the number of people hunting a new home online surge in January to more than two million, according to Rightmove data; a new online property portal is to be launched.
Founder member of the estate agents’ new website www.onthemarket.com, Tim Main, head of sales at Balfours Property Professionals, says “this is great news for house hunters. It has been a two horse race for some time, with Rightmove and Zoopla dominating. “Onthemarket.com is backed by estate agents nationwide and already represents 4,000 offices post launch on January 26.”
