Log Business Opportunity

The tenancy of a green energy business has been launched to let in East Shropshire.

The Raby Estate, located under the Wrekin is looking for an operator and tenant for its log business due to restructuring. The opportunity comes with a timber stacking yard and substantial shed for the processing and drying of wood.

Not only does the business come with its own name Wrekin Logs and website,, but also with the opportunity to purchase equipment required for wood processing and a customer base of nearly 300 regular customers.

Agent, Richard Jones-Perrott of Balfours, says: “This is a great opportunity for anyone seeking their own business with an interesting and varied lifestyle.  The yard and large portal frame shed is in an excellent location with easy access to the main road network.

“Without doubt wood burners and green energy are increasing in popularity as people seek not only to enjoy the atmosphere of a real fire, but also the green credentials and spreading of energy costs. We have a loyal customer base which has grown year on year, with revenue virtually doubling in the last five years.

He adds: “The initial lease is for a three year term. The landlord has an open mind as to the rent payable and looks forward to receiving proposals from interested parties by noon on 10th November 2017.” For further information call Richard on 01743 241181.
