On the ground floor there is an entrance hall, dining room, drawing room, sitting room, study, kitchen with AGA, boot room, cloakroom and a covered outside area. On the first floor there are seven large bedrooms, a shower room and a bathroom.

Outside is a stable block, manege, woods, an orchard, three ponds, paddocks, swimming pool and further outbuildings.

In total there are 8.5 acres (3.44 ha).

New Hall is approached via a drive and is set in a rural area with good access.

Nearby facilities at St Martins include a post office, supermarket and a public house. At Dudleston, there is a Church of St Mary's and there are active choral societies locally.

The market towns of Oswestry and Ellesmere are within easy travelling distance and offer a full range of educational and recreational facilities. Local schools include Ellesmere College, Packwood Haugh and Moreton Hall and both primary and secondary state schools are highly regarded.

Commutable by road and rail from Gobowen are the county towns of Shrewsbury and Chester which offer a further range of shopping, cultural and recreational facilities. Other schools in the area include Shrewsbury School and Kings School in Chester.

Sports societies locally include a tennis club in Dudleston Heath, Golf at Henlle Park in Gobowen (but no longer Chirk), Oswestry Rugby Club and Oswestry Olympians Athletics and Triathlon Club.

Local competitive swimming clubs include Ellesmere Titans, Chirk Dragons and Oswestry Otters.

From Ellesmere take the B5068 to Dudleston Heath. After passing the crossroads, drive up the hill and the property will be found on the left hand side.

From Shrewsbury and Oswestry, take the A5 north. Take a right at the roundabout sign posted to Gobowen on the B5069. In St Martins, turn right on the B5068 and after a distance, bear round the left hand bend (with a layby on the right). Start to slow, the entrance / drive is on the right.
