Brook House is positioned on the A488, which runs from Shrewsbury to Knighton. Brook House is understood to date from the 17th Century and is constructed of timber frame with brick and plaster panels, under a mixed slate and tile roof.

The property is listed Grade II and has a number of period features including an Inglenook fireplace, oak floorboards and exposed studwork and beams. A particular feature is the dining room which has a "naïve" painting showing. The property has been slowly restored over the last fifteen years.

Behind the house is a paved and concrete yard leading to a large garden behind the traditional barn, which incorporates the garage.

At the front of the house is hard parking for approx. 5 cars.

From the Shrewsbury bypass (A5) take the A488 signposted to Pontesbury and Minsterley. Proceed to Minsterley and at the mini roundabout turn left, staying on the A488 towards Hope and Bishops Castle. Brook House is on the left hand side.
