The plot stands to the edge of the small and pretty hamlet of Hopton Heath, set within beautiful unspoilt countryside with far reaching views across the Clun Valley.

Located in South Shropshire, close to the borders of Herefordshire and Wales, Hopton Heath is situated within the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding National Beauty. The nearby village of Leintwardine has a village shop, post office, butchers and primary school and further amenities can be found in Craven Arms. To the southeast is Ludlow, a thriving market town and an architectural gem with a lively community feel, busy with events and festivals throughout the year. It has an international reputation for food and drink with many excellent restaurants and cafes, enhanced by the area's abundance of good quality producers. The county town of Shrewsbury lies to the north and Hereford is to the south. Birmingham and the West Midlands are commutable with many convenient rail links. There are excellent state and independent schools in the area including Bedstone, Moor Park and Shrewsbury School. Ludlow Golf Club and Ludlow National Hunt racecourse are within approximately fifteen minute drive.

Planning consent was gained on 19th December 2018 for the erection of a two storey dwelling and garage; formation of access and parking area and installation of package treatment plant. Ref: 18/04825/FUL.

Planning Pack available from the Agents. As a self-build, the individual purchaser may be able to apply to the planning department to become exempt of any S106 payments. Legal and Financial advice should be sought from a Lawyer or Accountant.

From Ludlow, head north on the A49 and on entering Craven Arms turn left onto the B4368. Continue to the crossroads at Long Meadow End before turning left again (B4367) and pass by Broom and through Clungunford to Hopton Heath. At the bend in the road turn right and go over the railway bridge before bearing to the left. Hopton Heath Farm and the plot is on the right-hand side.
