Purchaser – Wem, Shropshire

Balfours were great, it was clear they cared about the elderly sellers and made it as easy as possible for them to part with their beloved family home.

Not pushy, very laid back but there to help when needed. Great to have a mobile number to get it touch especially when I was unable to talk over the phone.

Many thanks for all your help!

Harper Graduate Joins Balfours

An appointment has been made as part of a land agent’s continued growth. Charlotte Jacob has joined Balfours land agency team as an assistant agent.

The appointment gives Charlotte double reason to celebrate, not only landing her model  job on completion of the Rural Enterprise and Land Management (REALM) course at Harper Adams University, but later this month she will attend her graduation ceremony.

Charlotte will be working on estates throughout Shropshire and mid Wales, while adding to her portfolio for her Assessment of Professional Competence, with final exams 18 months. Says Balfours partner, Tim Perkins: “Charlotte is taking to the challenges that are part of everyday work for a rural surveyor and she is proving to be an adaptable team player.”

Coming from Worcestershire, it was a work experience opportunity which inspired Charlotte to undertake the three year REALM course. Now with exams now out of the way, for 18 months at least, 22 year old Charlotte is free to enjoy her passion for music and surfing during her spare time.”

New Builds – Three, Four and Five Bedrooms

Anyone seeking a home in north Shropshire should check out three new builds launched within the Tedsmore Grange development.

Situated in a parkland landscape on the edge of West Felton village, the properties range from the Haughton (a three bedroom bungalow), to the Aston (a four bedroom home) and the Felton (with five bedrooms).

Marketed by Balfours, Head of Sales, Alistair Hilton, comments “This is a fantastic opportunity to tap into phase II of this 35 home development, with properties due to be completed between the end of December this year and March 2018.”

Each is built to exacting standards by Dennis Edwards Homes and each is equipped with spacious living areas. The Haughton provides one en-suite room within its £305,00 guide price. The four bedroom Aston is a two storey home that also has an en-suite bedroom and a single garage within its £285,000 guide price.

The Felton steps up to two en-suites, plus fitted wardrobes throughout. It is equipped with underfloor heating and a log-burning stove; a double garage is also part of the £365,000 package.

Alistair adds: “The Tedsmore homes merit viewing as they have three significant points in their favour; namely, the development which is in a fabulous location benefitting from local village amenities including shops, a village hall and dedicated green open spaces with mature trees. Meanwhile Oswestry, Shrewsbury and Chester are all within easy striking distance, with major cities and airports also very commutable. Thirdly, walk into a Dennis Edwards Home and you are aware of the exacting craftsmanship that has gone into the build and the finish.”
