New appointment in planning team

Frank Whitley has joined Balfours Property Professionals as a Town Planner, adding further strength to the growing Planning and Development team at Balfours.

Head of planning at Balfours, Karine Swanson, welcomes his appointment: “We are delighted to have Frank on board; despite the current economic climate the planning department at Balfours has a busy portfolio of ongoing client work. His work will include negotiating development proposals on behalf of clients and working within the renewable energy sector.”

For the previous six years Frank worked for Local Government in Shropshire where he gained his Masters degree in Town and Country Planning and professional membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute.

Frank originates from Scotland where he initially trained as a surveyor before joining the Army. He now lives in Shropshire and is married with one son.
