Balfours always looks forward, so when new asbestos regulations came into force we trained surveyors and set up a separate asbestos company to deal with the problem; within 12 months it became one of only 100 organisations in the country to gain accreditation from the UK accreditation service (UKAS).

As for land agency, our experts’ in-depth understanding of the Mid Term Review resulted in their being able to correct our own professional body, a leading law firm and a well known farm management company on important elements of the scheme.
